Oscar
Asset Protection Manager
Originally from the Lone Star State, this boy arrived in Colorado without a resume, work boots, or tools. He’s a charmer, though, and was able to talk his way into an interview despite a long line of more highly qualified individuals.
During the interview, he excused himself twice — once when he thought he smelled a bear two miles away, and another time when a terrier tried to walk by “his” office. When asked to talk about his skill set, he volunteered to show us instead and that’s how we came to have a 3’ hole in the yard. Excavation isn’t exactly what we do, but his drive and ambition seemed worth taking a chance on him.
If you see him sitting in an office chair asleep with his tongue sticking out, don’t underestimate him. He may look like an idiot, but he’s a solid combination of Billy the Kid and Tony Soprano. When Oscar’s not pretending to work, he’s digging holes, surfing counters, and patrolling the perimeter. And whatever you do, don’t ask him if he’s just a fat beagle—dude is 100% Treeing Walker Coonhound, he’d like you to know.
